In practice this is a plate for Losmandy dovetail type that makes it possible to translate the group of shooting and driving in two directions at right angles to each other, allowing you to perfectly balance the system. All fastenings are a vise with soft opening and I placed the rings on the side for remote driving:
The choice to fix the remote drive to the main board has the double advantage of having a lower arm, and then a moment of strength and less weight as not to burden on OTA Shooting and its anchorage.
Of course I also did all the bars for the OTA: the SC, the Newtons and the ED80.
As for fixing the Newtons on the bar, I added a width of the plate shaped so as to increase the surface of the ring on the same plate:
In practice, a bit 'of aluminum, a band saw and a good cutter did the work ... one coat of primer and one orange (Geoptik style) and this is the result ...
